Identity verification (IDV) itself usually takes about 2–5 minutes to complete, and results typically come back within a few minutes of submitting — occasionally longer.
If your status still shows pending
- Give it time. Results can take a few minutes and occasionally longer. You do not need to resubmit — refresh the page or sign back in a little later to check.
- Don't start a second attempt while one is processing. This can complicate your verification record.

How verification works behind the scenes
Verification is run by our trusted third-party provider, Trolley. It matches the name you entered to the name on your government ID, and your ID photo to the live selfie you took. It is not a background or credit check, and we don't store your ID document or selfie — only your verification status.
