Once you open a task, you're in the core annotation interface. The layout varies by project type — video review, text classification, image labeling — but the general structure holds: main content on the left, task questions in the center, and side panels on the right (Info, Comments, History, plus Regions and Relations where applicable).

Tips for working faster and more accurately
- Hover over the guidance text under each question. Most projects include specific criteria for what counts as a "Yes" vs. "No" — read it before guessing.
- Use your hotkeys. They work directly in this view and can meaningfully speed up repetitive labeling. Defaults worth knowing: Submit Annotation (Ctrl + Enter), Undo (Ctrl + Z), Toggle Auto-Annotation (Shift + Alt + A). Customize them under Account → Hotkeys.
- Review the training content when unsure. The small book icon in the bottom toolbar (next to the undo/redo/reset controls) opens View Project Courses, where you can revisit the project's training material — available when the project has courses enabled.

The Comments tab
The Comments tab in the side panel is a running, task-level conversation thread — not just a note-to-self field. Comments come from a few sources:
- Managers — project-specific clarifications, corrections, or extra context on a particular task
- Reviewers — feedback on a submitted annotation, often explaining why something was accepted, rejected, or sent back
- Automation — system-generated notes, such as automated QA flags or status updates
Check this tab whenever a task feels off or gets rejected — there's often already an explanation waiting before you need to reach out to Support or Discord. You can also add your own comment to flag something for a Manager or Reviewer.
